A Safe Trip with Salvia Divinorum..

While many websites provide basic Salvia instructions or full blown user guides.. (see: The Salvia Divinroum User's Guide). We thought we'd add in our own two cents and talk about how we like to trip..

But first, watch this YOUTUBE VIDEO..!

The reason why where sharing this is that it offers a PERFECT example of a safe salvia trip, in an appropriate enviroment.

1. It's not in public.

2. It's not at a party, (better to be safe with less noise).

3. It's at home with someone you trust.

Next, We would like you to watch this youtube video..

got through it? Basically Elmer discovers something very sacred about Salvia (that is an incredibly beautifal vision) and receives some insight from "a lady singing in the clouds."

"That simpleness to the earth, that's what earth wants. Earth wants us to be their children again.."

I find that quite beautifal. I think, (and hope) that if you approach Salvia in the right way, and that if you ARE repectful, it just might help your trip..

Do what feels right to you. Reflect of why you are choosing to use this plant. Do you have a goal is there something you wish to experience or discover? Be respectful, say thank you to the plant, reflect upon it growing from the earth for months, if not YEARS before it landed in your hands :)

Know your intent (if you have one) for using and speak it clearly :).

I think that taking time to be respectful can definitely score you some points. People who do use the plant on an on going basis, develope a relationship with it and it shows them things.. So saying thanks and taking time to honour it for its visions is defintiely a good tactic.
